My teacher, Miss Griffin, read Sideways Stories from Wayside School to our class. It was very funny. Miss Griffin changed the names in the book to the names of people in my class, but one character in the book already had the name of someone in my class. My favorite part was the chapter that we called Mackinzie.  People were getting everything wrong and acting like it was opposite day.  Another chapter that I liked was called Jason. It was about this girl who was chewing gum.  A boy tattled on her, so she stuck the gum on his chair.  He sat on it and got stuck.  Everyone in the class tried to help him get unstuck. You will have to read the book to find out how he got unstuck.  It made me laugh. Ask your teacher to read this book to your class.
